TouchTale
We are a group of students from Northwestern University, who are passionate about enhancing the experience of storytelling for children. TouchTale strives to create tactile and interactive storybooks for children which they are able to feel the images in the book and perform tactile tasks that help with the progression of the story. By combining haptic feedback with digital storybooks we have today, we aim to create a new dimension of storytelling fueled by the dynamic interplay between sight, touch and imagination.

The goal of creating a storybook powered by Tanvas is to enhance the level of immersion and interactivity of the storybook. This creates a fun and memorable experience for children, which translates to overall improved memory retention and education benefits for children.

​For our third WildHacks, we wanted to mix things up a little bit. Now we're putting YOU in the organizer's seat (except minus all the boring stuff). You get to choose the event you want. You pick what to eat, what to do, what to win, and much more. It's a hackathon by the people, for the people.
